Israel thought the Anakim [giant men] were undefeatable, and fear of those giants moved Israel to rebel and refuse to possess the land. Under Joshua, that fear was gone; what changed? The Lord’s grace so shone in their hearts, they knew the Lord would conquer them. ~ Joshua 11:16-23
