A genuine gospel ministry needs to be both courageous – “bold in God to speak the gospel of God in much conflict;” and gentle – “just like a nursing mother cherishes her own.” Without both, ministry will compromise the gospel, and/or be harsh and bitter. ~ 1Thessalonians 2:1-9
